Our Journey, Your Wellness

We are Kevin and Dee Dee Andrews. On our quiet plot of land just outside Clatskanie, Oregon, we’ve always found our greatest joy in the simple rhythm of the seasons—working the orchard, tending the garden, and processing the harvest to share with our community throughout the year.

But several years ago, a severe fall changed everything. The accident left Dee Dee with broken bones, deep bruising, and permanent nerve damage in her left hand.

As she began the long road to recovery, the prescriptions began to pile up. While her body was healing outwardly, the internal pain only intensified. We soon found ourselves trapped on what I now call the “pharmaceutical hamster wheel”: a cycle where every new pill for pain or inflammation created a side effect that required yet another "potion" to fix. We watched helplessly as the very "cures" she was prescribed began to destroy her gut, leading to abdominal pain and a loss of appetite that caused her health to spiral further.

I knew there had to be a better way. I began researching how to repair her system naturally. It started simply—a tea of ginger and mint from our own garden that brought a smile to her face for the first time in months. That spark led me to a native plant often dismissed as a "weed": Wild Lettuce.

After researching how to safely forage and process it, I created a Wild Lettuce tincture. That tincture became the key that allowed Dee Dee to finally step off the wheel and manage her pain naturally. That was the moment Herb’s Herbs was born.

When we can't grow it ourselves, we forage in the Pacific Northwest wilderness or source from certified organic, ethical partners who prioritize sustainability.

Everything we do is small-batch to ensure the same high quality is captured in every bottle, using only distilled water and organic solvents.

Meet the Founder

Kevin and Dee Dee Andrews are the founders of Herb's Herbs, officially Herb's Business 1 LLC. I, Kevin, am the manager of Herb's Herbs. My love of the land and working in dirt seeing life come out of a seed was sparked while living in the middle west working a friends garden in Southern Indiana. I volunteered to weed between all the rows just to be a part of something so special. Come harvest season, I spent many afternoons in the kitchen learning how to process, dehydrate, can and spread love by the works of our hands. I still have the first jar of Habanero sauce we canned in the kitchen that Sunday. I will always remember the toxic fumes hanging in the air while we ground up 20 pounds of peppers we planted, tended, cultivated and eventually harvested. I swore that weekend to someday have my own plot of land to play in the dirt. I think the magic of harvesting was great, but even more was seeing the joy that our friends Niki and Eric got from sharing the harvest was the best!

Fast forward 20 years Dee Dee and I have our own 20 acres outside of Clatskanie Oregon above the Columbia River. We work in the orchard, in the woods, and especially in the garden. We bake, can, dehydrate and share the excess with others. We have a couple people we send gift boxes across the country. I make my own recipe of Sweet Heat Salsa or my private reserve, Habanero Smoked Salmon, maybe some Blackberry Pie filling and they send me Apple butter or Pepper jelly or whatever was plentiful this season.
